My daughter is watching YouTube. She’s 16 and doesn’t watch terrestrial TV at all so these are her role models and celebrities.
The channels that she loves the most are things like Jenna Marbles, Gus Johnson, jacksfilms, CallMeKevin, Danny Gonzalez, Kurtis Conner etc and the thing that all of those channels have in common is that they are run by people who clearly love what they’re creating and don’t care what anyone else thinks about it.
These people come across as doing what they love and loving what they do and they can teach us a lot.
